Yummy Shake


So I have been stuck on the site Pinterest. There are so many ideas from recipes to crafts to random quotes and pictures. The other day I found a recipe for an avocado shake. I love avocados and I love shakes, but the combination of the 2 was just a bit weird. However, I thought I would keep an open mind and try it.
The recipe calls for:
  • 1/2 an avocado
  • 1/2 an apple
  • 1/3 up of milk (preferably soy, almond, or rice)
  • 1 cup of ice
  • aguave nectar
I doubled up on the avocado, apple and milk (to make 2 servings) and it came out AMAZING!!! Much better than I had expected. A nice cooling healthy snack between meals. What are some of your favorite in between meal healthy snacks?

  1. When its hot out I just like frozen fruit that has a hard outer skin so its like mini popsicles. The best I find are either grapes or blueberries.
