Fashion Mishap

You ever have those moments when you have an accidental clothing/fashion mishap? Accidently put your shirt on inside out, wear two different types of socks, shirt is backwards? Yada Yada Yada. I had a pregnancy mishap the other day. Mario and I were about to walk into Outback for a little date when he asked "are you going to fix that?" I look down and my shirt is pulled up above my belly and you could see the elastic belly covering to my maternity pants. Oh goodness, that would have been BEYOND embarrassing. He then said he shouldn't have told me to get a good laugh. Let me just say that I was glad he told me, the place was packed that day. I remember posting awhile ago when a coworker of mine accidently put on two similar running shoes. Have you ever had a fashion mishap?

Yummy Shake

So I have been stuck on the site Pinterest. There are so many ideas from recipes to crafts to random quotes and pictures. The other day I found a recipe for an avocado shake. I love avocados and I love shakes, but the combination of the 2 was just a bit weird. However, I thought I would keep an open mind and try it.

The recipe calls for:

• 1/2 an avocado
• 1/2 an apple
• 1/3 up of milk (preferably soy, almond, or rice)
• 1 cup of ice
• aguave nectar

I doubled up on the avocado, apple and milk (to make 2 servings) and it came out AMAZING!!! Much better than I had expected. A nice cooling healthy snack between meals. What are some of your favorite in between meal healthy snacks?

8 Months

Today I am 8 months and 40 inches around. It is crazy how fast these last 8 months (minus the 5 weeks that I didn't know I was prego) has flown by. As Turtle moves more and more everyday and I get bigger it is just more of a reality check that this is really happening. Although I obviously know that I am pregnant there are moments that I catch myself dumbfounded that I have a little one growing inside me, and Boogs and I are going to be parents. Our life is going to change in so many ways and I cannot wait to start this journey. However I am still freaking out a little bit. Will I be a good parent, can I raise my child to be a respectable person, will I get poop on me? Haha, but seriously. I am so excited for the change and scared as all get out.

Idiot Abroad 2

I was a fan of the original series "Idiot Abroad" on the Travel Channel. I never knew anyone could be so close minded to other ways of life and the wonders of the world. However, Karl Pilkington makes these awkward moments hilarious. They are now having him do Idiot Abroad 2: Bucket List. Basically they are having him go around and do things that others wish to do before they die. I am so ready for some laughs from his discomfort and pain.... Is that cruel?

Sleep Talking

So I am not quite sure what has triggered this to happen every night, but I keep talking in my sleep. I am pretty sure it's because Boogs is always trying to talk to me while I am sleeping, but I am starting to find this all to be a little hilarious! I am also not quite sure if being pregnant has brought this on. I have in the past talked in my sleep, but I was around the age of 8 and 9. Here are some of the quotes/ conversations that have been going on.

1. Me- "Is the man here?" Boogs- "What man?" Me- "The man on the other side of the blanket"..... obviously!!
2. I'm going to throw up on your computer!
3. Me- (laugh) Boogs- "What are you laughing at?" Me- ".... I don't know."
4. (I THINK Mario had said something about not getting up because he didn't want to wake me up, but we have a temperpedic). I responded with "But we have a a couple sharing couch." Mario then proceeded to have me repeat what I was saying while recording it.

This is all that I can recall at the moment, but like I said, hilarious! haha

Although belly buttons become VERY unattractive when pregnant, Mario knew how to put a smile on my face by making one out of my belly button.
